- Purpose
These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) establish the standards of conduct for participation in the TradingBase Platform.
Our objective is to maintain a respectful, professional, secure, and educational environment for all members of the TradingBase ecosystem.
These Guidelines supplement the TradingBase Terms of Service and other applicable legal policies.
- Scope
These Guidelines apply to all interactive features of the Platform, including:
Community discussions;
comments;
forums;
Academy;
Journal;
Marketplace;
Broker Hub reviews;
AI conversations where user-generated content is submitted;
profile pages;
messaging features;
events;
uploaded documents;
multimedia content.
- Core Principles
Users are expected to:
act honestly;
communicate respectfully;
contribute constructively;
respect intellectual property;
comply with applicable laws;
protect the safety and privacy of others.
Professional conduct is expected regardless of experience level.
- Respectful Communication
Users must not engage in:
harassment;
bullying;
intimidation;
threats;
hate speech;
discriminatory language;
abusive behavior;
personal attacks.
Disagreement is permitted, but discussions must remain respectful and focused on ideas rather than individuals.
- Lawful Conduct
Users must not use the Platform to:
violate applicable laws;
facilitate criminal activity;
promote illegal products or services;
evade legal obligations;
distribute unlawful material.
TradingBase may cooperate with competent authorities where legally required.
- Financial Discussions
Community discussions relating to financial markets are encouraged for educational purposes.
However, users must not:
guarantee investment returns;
falsely represent performance;
manipulate market sentiment;
impersonate licensed financial professionals;
promote fraudulent investment schemes;
coordinate unlawful market manipulation.
Users should clearly distinguish between personal opinions and factual statements.
- Misleading Information
Users must not knowingly publish:
false information;
fabricated trading results;
manipulated screenshots;
fake testimonials;
misleading performance claims;
deceptive advertisements.
TradingBase reserves the right to request supporting evidence for extraordinary claims where appropriate.
- Spam and Promotional Content
Without prior authorization, users must not:
post repetitive advertisements;
send unsolicited promotional messages;
abuse referral systems;
publish excessive affiliate links;
engage in automated spam;
artificially increase engagement metrics.
Reasonable references to relevant educational resources are permitted where appropriate.
- Intellectual Property
Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others.
Do not upload or distribute material that infringes:
copyrights;
trademarks;
patents;
trade secrets;
database rights;
contractual confidentiality obligations.
Users remain responsible for ensuring that they possess the necessary rights before sharing content.
- User-Generated Content
Users may contribute:
articles;
comments;
charts;
indicators;
educational materials;
videos;
code snippets;
templates;
journals;
marketplace listings.
Users retain ownership of their original content while granting TradingBase the license described in the Terms of Service.
- Privacy of Others
Users must not disclose another person’s personal information without appropriate authorization.
Examples include:
home addresses;
phone numbers;
government-issued identification numbers;
financial account information;
authentication credentials;
confidential business information.
Doxxing and similar activities are prohibited.
- Security
Users must not attempt to:
compromise Platform security;
bypass authentication;
exploit vulnerabilities;
distribute malware;
perform unauthorized penetration testing;
interfere with Platform operations.
Responsible vulnerability disclosure should follow TradingBase’s Security Policy.
- Marketplace Conduct
Marketplace participants must:
describe products accurately;
provide truthful information;
respect customer rights;
avoid deceptive marketing;
comply with applicable consumer protection laws.
Fraudulent listings may result in immediate removal.
- AI Usage
Users must not use AI features to generate or distribute content that:
violates applicable laws;
promotes fraud;
infringes intellectual property;
facilitates cybercrime;
impersonates individuals;
creates deceptive or malicious content.
Users remain responsible for content they publish, regardless of whether AI assisted in its creation.
- Moderation
TradingBase may review content using:
automated systems;
AI-assisted moderation;
human moderators;
user reports.
Moderation decisions are intended to protect the integrity and safety of the Platform.
- Enforcement
Where appropriate, TradingBase may take actions including:
issuing warnings;
removing content;
restricting features;
suspending accounts;
terminating accounts;
restricting Marketplace participation;
reporting unlawful conduct to competent authorities where legally required.
The action taken will generally depend on the severity and frequency of the violation.
- Appeals
Users who believe moderation action was taken in error may submit an appeal through TradingBase’s official support channels.
Appeals will be reviewed in accordance with internal moderation procedures.
Submission of an appeal does not guarantee reversal of the original decision.
- Changes to these Guidelines
TradingBase may update these Guidelines from time to time.
Updated versions will become effective on the date specified within the revised document.
Continued participation in the Community constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
